High school students are BUSY! There is much to do in these last few years of school, both in and out of the classroom, that there is little free time left in the schedule. How is a student supposed to prepare for college?
With one click you can access our College Prep Toolbox and fulfill all of your college planning needs.
The Military Child Education Coalition and SchoolQuest want to make college accessible to all who desire to attend. We have put much thought into anticipating what you will need to help you plan this journey.
All resources available in the College Prep Toolbox are FREE to military-connected and members of the S2S program.
As early as middle school, students can begin planning their high school courses activities, My College Options and March2Success offer informative guides to help you get on the right path.
In a student’s junior and senior years they will start considering the ACT or SAT. These tests are an important step to college admission, so prior preparation is a must! Our Toolbox offers both SAT and ACT prep.
The Khan Academy and the College Board have partnered together to offer reliable SAT prep for the recently redesigned test. Number2 offers both ACT and SAT prep, free of charge. We’ve added links to the ACT and SAT registration pages to make it even easier to sign up for a day to take the test.
All you have to do is log on and start studying. Please make time to prepare for the ACT and SAT. Studies show that those students who engage in test prep do better on the test than their peers who do not.
Not sure where you want to go after high school or what you want to do? No worries, we’ve got you covered there, too! myCollege Options will help you find a major that interests you and a college that fits you.
Although it’s a great investment, college isn’t cheap. Our Scholarship Finder takes your information and turns that into a list of reputable scholarships that fit your profile. Simply create your profile and answer a few questions about yourself. After a quick compilation of this data, a list of eligible scholarships will be generated. You can favorite those scholarships that look especially promising. Best of all, your results will be saved so you can return to it as often as you’d like.
Please come visit our College Prep Toolbox. We’ve designed it with you in mind!
Best wishes, Amy
