Looking for funds to help pay for college?  Look no further . . . The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC)® and SchoolQuest.Org™ have a new resource ready to help . . . our FREE Scholarship Finder!

This award-winning financial aid database from Reference Service Press (RSP) is designed for college-bound high school students (and their parents) to search for undergraduate funding.  Available free to military-connected high school students as well as high school students who participate in one of MCEC’s Student 2 Student (S2S) programs, this service connects users to a bank of thousands of scholarships, loans, grants, awards and other funding opportunities.  Awarded money can be used at private or public 2-year or 4-year, and religious or secular colleges or universities in the United States.

Creating an account is easy.  Just follow the links under our “SchoolQuest College Planners” section on the SchoolQuest.Org home page.

  • If this is your first visit, you’ll want to use the “Create Account” link to answer a few questions regarding your connection to the military or the S2S program, as well as customize your account with your grade level, email and password information.
  • If this is a return visit, you’ll follow the “Log In” link, enter your email and the password you set when you created your account, and you’re back to where you left off at the end of your last visit.  Our Scholarship Finder automatically saves what you’ve been working on so you never lose the answers you’ve given in your “Search Questionnaire”, or the matches you received in your “Results List”, or the opportunities you’ve set aside in your “Saved Favorites” list.

If your personal circumstances change (the high school grade you’re in, the types of schools you’re looking to attend, the programs you hope to study) you can always go back and update “Your Account” and/or “Search Questionnaire” answers in order to get new results.  Just remember to print out any previous lists/matches if you’d like to refer to them in the future as a new search will override your original search results.

With this new free access to 40,000 or more unique funding opportunities, we here at SchoolQuest.Org and MCEC wish you success in your search . . . for the sake of the child!
