“Military Kids:  Shining from Sea to Sea” - Military Child Education Coalition’s 14th NTS

The previously advertised 3-day Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC)® Annual Conference has been re-designated as a 2-day Training Seminar.  Registration is open and an Early Bird rate of $499 is available through May 31st.  Seminar special guests will include:  former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Roger Staubach, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin E. Dempsey and Mrs.  Dempsey, and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy Robert L. Gordon III.

Seminar’s Focus:

More than twenty-five distinguished lectures and concurrent sessions will be offered focusing on the five strands that affect our military-connected students:  

  1. Leadership
  2. Family
  3. Wellness
  4. Special Needs
  5. Education Innovation

Special Note: 

The first 250 seminar registrants will receive complimentary tickets to “From the Top” – NPR’s hit radio show featuring top tier military youth musicians, which takes place on June 27th at 7:30pm at the Palace Arts Center in Grapevine, Texas.
