What is the name of this scholarship?

The Our Future Scholarship provides $50,000 over four years and is open to high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 cumulative un-weighted GPA at the time of application.  Scholars must attend a four-year institution for the funds to apply.

Who is it sponsored by?

This scholarship is sponsored by the Our Family for Families First Foundation– “Making a difference in the lives of military families by providing scholarships and grants to the children and spouses of active-duty Service Members.”

Who is eligible?

High school seniors who are the children of an active duty Service Member stationed at one of the following installations:

  • Fort Mead
  • Fort Bragg
  • Fort Polk
  • Fort Riley
  • Fort Sill
  • Aberdeen Proving Ground

*Applicants do NOT have to live in a Picerne Military Housing home to be eligible.

When can students apply?

Applications for seniors graduating in 2014 will be available in November 2013.
